2003 National Fastener (autumn) Economic Trade & Technology Conference was held successfully by the Fastener Branch of China General Machine Components Industry Association from October 13 to October 15, 2003 in Changzhou, the important industry city of south of Yangtse Rive. On the opening of the conference, the Secretary-General of China Steel Industry Association Mr. Li Shijun made a topic report on current status and development tendency of China steel and fastener material, steel markup influence on fastener and concerned steel matters. Mr. Li's wonderful report evoked the applause and laughter of conference representatives for a period of time. Subsequently, the Secretary-General of Fastener Association Mr. Feng Jinrao made an report on world and Chinese fastener industry status and market forecast from January to August this year£¬which made enterprise representatives have a further understanding to international and domestic current status of the industry.
